I don't particularly care much for that lifestyle, but it is realistic, and I like seeing a little realism in anime. Also I have some friends who are homosexual or bisexual, so if heterosexuals like me are represented in anime, wouldn't the fair thing be for my friends to get some representation as well?

I can't believe "homosexuality is a sin and shouldn't be included!" is getting votes.

It basically translates to "a very shallow reading of an obscure Jewish rule, which a subset of Christianity has latched onto, should become a censorship standard for every TV show produced anywhere on the planet."

I chose anime as a the topic because I like anime and I didn't want to make the choice too broad. If I included all fiction, some people might say yes, some people might say only in certain fiction, some might say only in homosexual fiction, and so on. Instead of arguing what kind of fiction homosexuality is acceptable, I just picked a genre I enjoy to use as the catalyst. As well, anime is well known for including alternative lifestyles, and so I wanted to see what people really think of the genre and the types of things viewed in anime.

"Homosexuality is perfectly normal & acceptable." So is Bisexual, in anime or real life. At least that's how I feel. You can't help who you fall in love with

After all one of he things that this country (at least in the U.S.A.) was founded on was "Each man is created equal" then why can't the same apply for anime & in fiction?

It could, and I see you HAVE broached the subject! I voted in your polls. But this way, each of us can use a specific, narrow genre as a starting point for talking about the bigger issue of homosexuality in general.
