Riko in the Sunrise

Just a little something for . She asked for her characters in kimono, so I drew her fourth-generation Sailor Pluto, Meiou Riko. I thought Riko sounded very nice, and I love the Pluto group, so here she is.

The little back-story I gave this picture is that Riko is standing on the Crystal Palace grounds in the early morning, while her father takes a picture of her in her new kimono. The whole palace is on their way to the Tanabata Festival, and she's so excited! She even has her hair in her great-grandmother's style, except it's curly because it's usually in braids.

I know the kimono is a little big, and that you can't see her hands, but I'm pretty proud of the background, anyway. Here's to you, Raye!
