This is the very first piece of fanart I did of Usagiko, my daughter of ChibiUsa. I also came up with her basic personality on this. I think I wanted Usagiko to be as different from Usagi as possible.
ChibiUsa is more serious than her mother, but she can still be cheerful and childlike. Usagiko is never that way, and the only thing she's childlike about is her fears of rejection. As well, she's a lot like me when I created her (almost ten years ago), so I wanted a heroine who was flawed like me.
I really love Usagiko still, since she was one of my first non-self-insert senshi. She might be the first, and she definitely has a better back-story than most of my early attempts. Either way, she's come a long way and taken me along for the ride.
