and this month's character is Aino Kana, the third generation of Sailor Venus. She's the little blond girl. The older lady with red hair is her daughter, Aino Manami. Manami is older here because Kana was reborn after some large problems between her and her daughter. However, because they were able to make peace, Kana was reborn and now is the younger one. 
This picture symbolizes the healing they went through, and how I think they would act now. Not like mother and daughter, since there are so many painful feelings between them that way, but more like sisters.
