This is the daughter that I created for my Sailor Selenium Rabbit, AKA Usagi as an Animamate! Serenity here is Usagi's daughter with Galaxia. Her story is a little complicated.

Selenium Rabbit is insanely loyal to Galaxia, partly out of the dark energy within her and partly because she's so desperately lonely without her soul mate and friends that she latches onto the only person that she can. The other nearby Animamates alternatively fear her (as Galaxia's chosen favorite with a temper, it's not wise to upset her) and ridicule her when they can get away with it intact, so she has as little to do with them as possible. Selenium Rabbit even develops something of a crush on the dark queen, who reciprocates to twist Usagi further to her side and because she herself is lonely.

However, Galaxia never expected to fall in love with her minion, to the point that they consummate their relationship just prior to Usagi being rescued by the senshi. Galaxia is left bereft and enraged and vows to destroy those who took her lover from her (even her pure emotions corrupted by the lack of her good starseed ChibiChibi). Luckily, as she always does, Usagi saves the day, purifies Galaxia, and returns ChibiChibi to the Golden Queen. As everyone is brought back to life all over the galaxy, Usagi forgives Galaxia and wishes her well before she leaves.

What neither of them knows is that Galaxia is pregnant through the power of their potent starseeds. When she gives birth on a deserted planet in self-isolation, she knows exactly who the other parent is by the shining crescent moon on the child's forehead with a star in the middle (Galaxia's own symbol). Galaxia is both appalled at the symbol of her corruption and devoted to her daughter with the woman she loves.

Galaxia names her daughter Serenity in honor of Usagi since Galaxia never knew Usagi AS Usagi. She teaches her daughter to love everything about the Earth's Moon and to detest everything about Galaxia's own heritage. Although Serenity never understands why she must hate a part of herself, she keeps quiet on the issue since it makes her mother upset when she brings it up. This is why Serenity at first only shows part of her birthmark through her power and only wears crescent moons instead of stars as well.

Galaxia sends a message to Usagi as soon as she finds out that she's pregnant but the message takes some years to reach Earth. By the time Usagi finds out that she has another daughter, she and Mamoru have ascended as queen and king. The new monarchs invite Galaxia to Earth so Usagi can meet her child. Galaxia, though reluctant to return the world where she killed so many (though they were reborn by Serenity's power), she still knows that it's not her right to keep Serenity's child from her.

Serenity of course falls completely in love with Sere and assures Galaxia that, though she was twisted as Selenium Rabbit, it was HER choice to sleep with Galaxia. Endymion is also able to forgive the other woman when Serenity explains that she came on to Galaxia, Galaxia did NOT rape her or even ask to sleep with her (as it never even occurred to the power-hungry woman as she had worlds to take over), and that Serenity loves Endymion the most of all. At Serenity's insistence, the two travelers take up residence in the Crystal Palace.

Galaxia and Sere fit into palace life fairly well, though the senshi are distrustful of Galaxia for a long time. They all love Sere, though, and dote on her and ChibiUsa when she’s born. ChibiUsa loves Sere very much and Sere is just happy to FINALLY have other people to hang out with. Although she loves her mother, her gregarious nature didn’t do well on a deserted planet.

Sere is much like Serenity and loves everyone. She does have a bit of Galaxia’s arrogance, however, and she knows that she’s special. However, for whatever reason, she’s unable to transform at first—much like ChibiUsa—and that helps to curb her pride. She adores Endymion and follows him around like a puppy. :3 Basically, for all intents and purposes, she and ChibiUsa have three parents who all love them very much.

Sere has odango like Serenity but bangs and long hair like Galaxia. Her hair is the same two-tone like Galaxia’s but in pastel yellow and red. Her eyes are the same clear blue of Serenity’s.
